Maxis is specifically engineered for people with bigger builds. It fits users approximately 5'10''–6'7'' (178–200 cm) and supports up to 399 lbs (181kg). With a 52cm seat depth, 430mm shoulder width, and 520mm waist width, it provides full-body support that standard ergonomic chairs simply can't match.

All three are built on the same reinforced Maxis frame: Bionic FlexFit Backrest, Dynamic Support System, and five fixed recline positions. The differences are:

• Manual: Manual lumbar adjustment — the simplest option.
• Electric: Adds motorized lumbar support + Motorized Spinal Decompression.
• Airflow: Everything in Electric, plus Active Airflow Seat Ventilation — a centrifugal fan system that actively circulates air through the seat cushion to keep you cool and dry.

The Airflow system uses a centrifugal fan built into the seat, with air channels layered through the cushion (breathable fabric → silk cotton padding → 3D support mesh → perforated foam → airflow channel → fan). It activates automatically when seated and has two speed settings with auto-memory. The fan operates at a low noise level designed for office environments.

The chair reclines to 5 fixed positions: 105°, 115°, 125°, 135°, and 160°.

• 105° – Deep Focus Mode: Upright and locked-in for intensive work.

• 135° – Soft Recline Mode: Ideal for light tasks or phone use.

We recommend switching positions throughout the day to reduce spinal load.

Fixed positions are intentionally designed for usability. In practice, infinite adjustment often leads to constant re-tweaking without ever landing on the right angle. Our 5 preset positions let you switch postures instantly, no fiddling required. That said, we do offer more positions than most ergonomic chairs.

From an ergonomic standpoint, sitting fully upright at 90° puts the load on your sitting bones, which creates more strain over time — not less. Even a slight recline at 105° redistributes pressure across a much larger surface area (including your sacrum), dramatically increasing comfort. We designed around what your body actually needs, not what "feels disciplined."

The backrest dynamically adjusts to follow your spine's natural curve as you shift postures. Rather than a rigid static back, it flexes and adapts so the lumbar support stays aligned whether you're sitting upright or reclined. Think of it as a backrest that moves with you.

OmniStretch is a motorized spinal decompression function. With the press of a button, the lumbar support extends upward and then gently releases, creating a stretch-and-release motion that helps relieve spinal compression from prolonged sitting. It mimics the kind of stretch-and-release motion used to relieve compression in the lower back.

The Omni SE and Maxis Manual use a manual screw-dial mechanism to raise and lower the lumbar support, giving you precise control without any electronics. It's quieter, requires no charging, and is better suited for users who set their chair once and don't change it frequently. The electric version (Pro / Maxis Electric/Maxis Airflow) lets you adjust at the touch of a button and includes the OmniStretch function.

We offer two discrete options rather than infinite adjustment because infinite sliding can cause unintended shifts in the ergonomic optimization of the foam density zones.

All models have a gas lift with 110mm of travel (44–55cm from floor to seat surface), suitable for desk heights of approximately 68–76cm (standard desk range).

The Pro features Gabriel Atlantic fabric from Denmark — one of the world's top four fabric manufacturers. It's rated at 110,000 Martindale abrasion cycles (roughly 10 years of heavy daily use), is OEKO-TEX® certified for skin safety, offers superior breathability, and is flame-retardant and machine-washable with no shrinkage.Omni SE and Omni use a 97% polyester / 3% spandex "ant-weave" fabric that offers excellent stretch and a snug, tailored fit to the backrest's contours.

The fabric is not currently removable for machine washing, but LiberNovo provides a dedicated fabric cleaning solution that handles everyday stains effectively. We're continuing to evaluate a washable cover option for future iterations.
